Garden again

Today I mulched the boys' garden. Though Pete had a good point: if I care for it, weed it, mulch it etc ... does that still make it "the boys' garden"??
Anyway ... The boys were busy today as well and did a bit of gardening of their own.

That's right ... that's how we cut grass at our house ...

As far as harvest, we have gotten 3 big handfuls of strawberries so far, tons of lettuces as well.

Here's the veggie garden in the back of the house:

under the deck is a mess of sunflowers, weeds, gourds and lettuces

The boys garden, aka the side garden:

Three sister's garden with corn, just planted bean seeds and pumpkins. Ok, there are a few step sisters in the mix (cat grass, a couple of sunflowers and some broccoli)

zucchini/squashes and tomatoes

Tomatoes, pumpkins and cucumber, 1 pepper plant and a couple of parsley heads

Finally the salad table after many thinning and replanting of lettuces

We have a pea!!!!
