Pool and treasure hunting

Yesterday we went to Dynamite Gymnastic Center with our dear friends Erin and Claire. We followed that by a great trip to the pool and came back to our house to finish off the fun.

sharing snacks
peanut butter crackers, veggie chips and strawberries
champagne grapes were also a hit
teeny tiny grapes

grapes ... hmmm

The boys then introduced Claire to their new game: playing mason. They dig dirt which they load in their dump trucks. They add *just* the right amount of water to make their "mortar" and they go to town filling in the cracks between the pavers. Needless to say that Claire's dress wasn't as white anymore. Oops.

Today, after the boys and I came home from pulling invasive "mile-a-minute" and other weeds at Woodend sanctuary (for 2 1/2 hours ... ouch thorns ... ouch), we all decided to go Geocaching. The weather was iffy but it was worth it. We went to 2 different caches and found both. We got stuck in a wicked rain storm at the end of the second cache. The boys loved it.

SCORE!!
Home after the second cache ... still pouring rain but we got it anyway!!

rare family picture (without the furrys)
But really ... why stop the fun there. Let's just keep getting wet!!!

I took that one even before he ran back into the deluge!
It was so funny that I HAD to get a video of the boys in hysterics ... of course ...
